Century Extrusion announces the “High Performance Compounding”
Twin-Screw Extrusion Training Seminar

January 2, 2009
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Century Extrusion will offer a “High Performance Compounding” Twin-Screw Extrusion training seminar February 25-26, 2009 in Houston, TX, immediately following the International Polyolefins Conference. The two-day seminar will be presented by process expert Adam Dreiblatt, Director of Process Technology for CPM Century Extrusion.

The seminar will focus on the application and optimization of intermeshing co-rotating extruders in polymer compounding applications. During the sessions, Dreiblatt will explain how twin-screw extruders can be configured and operated to produce the desired physical properties at the highest production efficiency. The presentation is suitable for machine operators, process engineers, and supervisors, as well as product development scientists in both research and manufacturing environments. At the end of each training day, Dreiblatt will offer an optional one-on-one review of participants’ current twin screw extrusion processes.
